A booking page that does not know your calendar is a list of times you hope are free. One dentist appointment entered somewhere else and you are apologising to a client — the one kind of scheduling failure that costs more than the booking was worth.
Availability here starts from the weekly hours you set and then removes whatever your live Google Calendar says you are busy for. The published slot is a slot that survives both checks.
How the calendar connection works
Read-only, and only busy time
The connection asks for the read-only calendar scope. We check whether a time is taken; the titles, guests and contents of your own events are not what the booking page is built from.
A Google Meet link per booking
Every booking gets its own Meet link, included in the confirmation email and on the calendar entry, so neither side has to create or paste one.
Time off you block yourself
Block a date range and those slots disappear from the page for that event, without touching the weekly hours underneath.
What we don't do
Google Calendar only — no Outlook, no iCloud, no CalDAV. Google Meet is the only conferencing option, so Zoom and Teams links have to be added by hand if you use them. Disconnecting is immediate: the stored token is revoked with Google and deleted, and availability falls back to the weekly hours alone.

What access does BooknTalk ask for?

Will clients see what my calendar events are?
No. Only whether a time is free or busy affects the booking page. Nothing from your own entries is published.
Do bookings get a video link?
Yes. A Google Meet link is created for each booking and included in the confirmation email and the calendar entry.
Can I disconnect?
At any time, from your backoffice. The token is revoked with Google and deleted immediately, and your availability reverts to the weekly hours you published.
