A rate per engagement type
Each event has its own price and duration — a 30-minute advisory call, a 90-minute review, a fixed-scope audit session. The client sees the price before they choose a slot.
Publish each engagement type at its own rate. The client pays when they book, straight into your own Stripe account — we take €1 and never hold the rest.

A one-hour advisory call can take a month to collect: the call happens, the invoice goes out, the payment terms run, and somewhere in there a reminder has to be written by a person who would rather be consulting. For short engagements the collection effort is a real fraction of the fee.
Taking the money at the point of booking removes the whole sequence. The client picks a slot, pays through Stripe Checkout, and the session is confirmed only once the payment succeeded. Nothing is outstanding by the time the call starts.

Stripe Connect means the charge is made on your account, not ours. Payouts follow your own Stripe schedule and we never sit on your balance — there is no platform wallet here.
A booking that never completes checkout releases its slot again instead of blocking your calendar. You are not manually reconciling who actually paid.
Refund a client in full and Stripe returns our €1 with it. No clawback to request and no fee kept on money you gave back.
There are no deposits or staged payments — the full price is taken at booking, or the event is free. We do not issue invoices, handle VAT paperwork, or run retainer billing; Stripe provides the receipt and everything downstream is your accountant. Google Calendar, Google Meet and Stripe are the only integrations.
For the trade-offs between charging up front and invoicing after, see our guide to getting paid for online consultations.
No. BooknTalk takes the full price of the event at booking, or nothing if the event is free. There is no partial or staged payment, and we would rather tell you that here than after you have set up a page.
For paid events, yes — you connect your own. Free events work without Stripe entirely. Connecting takes a few minutes through Stripe’s standard onboarding.
The slot is released. A booking only becomes confirmed once the payment succeeds, so an abandoned checkout leaves your calendar exactly as it was.
No. €1 per successful paid booking is the whole price, free events cost nothing, and a month with no bookings costs nothing at all.
Free until your first paid session. See the full pricing if you want the detail first.
